SimpleCold is the post office's inspection desk: every address gets looked at, stamped with a result and given a plain reason. Paper, ink and one stamp blue.
Logo
The stamp
A perforated postage stamp carrying the S. Built from simple shapes so it holds up at 16px.
On light backgrounds
The blue stamp with a perforated edge, then the wordmark in Archivo 800.
On ink
On dark backgrounds the perforations take the ink colour and the wordmark turns paper.
Colour
Paper, ink and one stamp blue
Result colours never decorate. They only ever mean a result, and each one has its own shape.
Type
Archivo and IBM Plex Mono
Archivo for everything you read. IBM Plex Mono for anything the machine says: addresses, results, codes and prices per email.
Results
Result badges
Badges look like an inspection stamp. The reason always sits next to the badge, in plain words.
Large · the verdict
Used once per result, next to the checked address and its reason.
Small · tables and lists
Mono caps, a ruled border and a shape mark, so a result never relies on colour alone.
Buttons
Three buttons, one job each
Ink is the main action. Blue is kept for the one thing we most want on a page.
Usage
Using the logo
A few rules that keep it recognisable.
Give it room
Keep clear space around the logo at least as wide as the stamp's border dots.
Don't redraw it
Don't stretch, rotate, recolour or add effects to the stamp or the wordmark.
Write it as one word
SimpleCold, with a capital S and C. Not Simple Cold or Simplecold.
