Export your lists
Download your lists from NeverBounce as CSV. List jobs run through its API already come back as CSV.

Run a side-by-side
Upload one list here (a CSV up to 50 MB with an email column) and compare the results row by row.

Swap the API
Call GET /api/v1/api-validation/single with your SimpleCold key, and branch on category instead of NeverBounce's result names.

Point scripts and automations that called NeverBounce at our API, or move lists as CSV files.

How results map across
Use category in your logic. Show statusMessage to people.
 NeverBounce result | SimpleCold category | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| valid | Deliverable | The mailbox exists. |
| valid with flag role_account | Risky | A shared address like info@ (status role_address). NeverBounce flags it; we put it in Risky. |
| catchall | Risky | The domain accepts every address (status accept_all). |
| disposable | Risky | A throwaway inbox (status disposable). |
| invalid | Undeliverable | Mail will bounce. statusMessage says why. |
| unknown | Risky | The server didn't confirm. You see Processing while we keep trying; if it never confirms, the result is Risky with status no_response. |
NeverBounce result names are from its documentation, checked 26 Oct 2026. SimpleCold has no Unknown category: an address the server never confirms comes back Risky with status no_response.
